Solar Flare 2024

Solar Flare 2024. Nasa’s solar dynamics observatory, which watches the sun constantly, captured imagery of the events. The image shows a subset of extreme ultraviolet light that highlights the extremely hot material in flares and which is colorized in yellow and orange.

Solar Flare 2024

The sun emitted a strong solar flare, peaking at 1:53 a.m. The height of solar activity during a given solar cycle is known as solar maximum, and current estimates predict it will occur between late 2024 and early 2026.
